Jim Ewing MSc. Managing Director.

Jim attended Stirling University, where he achieved a Masters Degree in Information Technology and gained skills in website design and development, usability and user interfaces, databases and programming. 

 

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) status was gained in Microsoft Server Technology and Jim  worked as an IT Field Engineer for a Glasgow based motor trade company, covering a wide variety of technical support issues across Scotland and the rest of the UK. 

 

His next position was a combined role of IT Trainer and Network Administrator with a large Glasgow Training Group.

 

Whilst enjoying the above roles, the challenges and success of running his own IT business, specialising in his key skill areas of internet technologies and providing essential IT support services to small businesses has led to Jim devoting his time to Xact I.T. Ltd and its clients.

 

 

Outside of work, he enjoys, Mountaineering, Skiing, Mountain Biking , Skating, Camping and Bothying, Travel and the company of good friends.
