Backward compatible with 11b users, the travel router also supports a range of clients. With its internal antenna, compact form, and convenient carry case, the travel router transports and sets up easily for instant secure wireless access to the Internet wherever a wireless broadband connection is available

With a flick of a thumb switch, you can choose between four operation modes— Configuration, Router, Access Point (AP) or Client—to fit different security and communication needs. Wireless users connect to the travel router over secure 802.11g 54 Mbps connections in AP or Router mode; a wired user connects through the travel router's 10/100 Ethernet port as a wireless client in Client mode.

Advanced Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) and Wireless Equivalent Privacy (WEP) encryption help secure the privacy of the private hotspot network. In Router mode, a stateful packet inspection firewall adds another layer of defense against Internet threats, while virtual private network (VPN) support securely connects remote sites and workers.

A familiar Web browser interface and helpful Setup Wizard make installation and configuration easy.
